Prof Abhay Karandikar

Prof. Abhay Karandikar is currently serving as the Director - IIT Kanpur.

Earlier, he was the Dean (Faculty Affairs) and the Institute Chair Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay. He has been instrumental in developing many pathbreaking technologies and has been at the forefront of several large initiatives both at the institute and the national level. He is the founding member and chairman of the Telecom Standards Development Society of India (TSDSI), India’s standards body for telecom. He has also served as the coordinator of Tata Teleservices IIT Bombay Center of Excellence in Telecommunications (TICET) and the National Center of Excellence in Technology for Internal Security.

Prof Shalabh

Prof. Shalabh is currently a Professor of Statistics and Data Science at IIT Kanpur. Currently, He is also the Dean of Academic Affairs at IIT Kanpur. Formerly, he has also served as a Member of the Board of Governors, Chair Professor and Associate Dean at IIT Kanpur. His initiatives have changed the National and State level examination systems in India from offline mode to computer-based test mode. He has immensely contributed to improving the grievance redressel system at the National level by developing an artificial intelligence and data science based system that has been deployed in various Ministries of the Government of India. His research publications and books have created an impact in academia at an international level. Noticeably, one of the books authored by him has been downloaded nearly 5.4 Million times.

Elango Thambiah

Elango Thambiah is an alumnus of IIT, Chennai and IIM, Bangalore.

With nearly 30 years of experience in diverse industries of manufacturing, Consumer goods and Telecom, he brings in rich expertise in all areas of business. With his keen interest in consumer behavior and operations, he has led many successful product and service launches in different geographies of India. In his corporate assignments, he had been Operation Director for Northern Region in Bharti Airtel and his last corporate assignment was President (Consumer Business) in Tata Teleservices.

He is also a co-founder of an NGO, ‘The Ganga Foundation’, which focuses on the improving the lives of spinal injured people. He is currently guiding and mentoring multiple start-ups involved in commercial and social ventures.

Bhaskar

Bhaskar is an industry leader in supply chain and transformation management

Bhaskar has 4 decades of experience as C-level executive in Telecom and manufacturing companies of international repute. He also carries 10 years of international experience at group head.

Bhaskar strategised and drove supply chain function efficiency and pioneered process transformation, large scale automation , cost management and digitisation for large organisations to achieve scale. Bhaskar’s rich experience in innovative commercial model would help pinnacle immensely to scale and expand partner eco system in India and outside for rapid growth.
